Q: Can I still order in person? A: Yes, but you must pay the fee in cash. We cannot accept credit cards in the office.
Q: Are there different kinds of transcripts? A: You have a choice of two types: We can print paper transcripts on security paper and deliver them by mail. And we can publish certified PDF transcripts (eTranscripts) which will be delivered electronically.
Q: Is my transfer credit on my transcript? A: Your Concordia transcript only summarizes transfer credit we accepted. For records of individual courses taken at other institutions you will need to request official transcripts from those institutions.
Q: How do I request a transcript? A: You can order a transcript either online or in-person. The online process is described on these pages. In-person orders are accepted in the Registrar’s office, 204 Janzow Campus Center on the Seward campus.
Both paper and eTranscripts can be ordered online. In-person orders can only be published on paper.
Q: How much does it cost? A: eTranscripts are $5 each; paper transcripts are $10 each.
Q: How do I pay? A: Online orders are paid by credit card. In-person orders must be paid by cash/check. We can’t accept credit cards in the office.
Q: Why do I need to provide consent? A: A federal law requires us to obtain your permission to release your personal information to a third party. We can document your consent by having your signature on a paper or by you verifying your identity through this system.
Q: How many can I order? A: As many as you would like.
Q: How soon will they get it? A: We expect to process both paper and eTranscripts once every day that the office is open. In both cases we check for financial holds before processing, so expect a day before we can start the delivery process. eTranscripts will be produced with notices delivered by email quickly after that. Please allow up to 12 business days for delivery of a paper transcript after your order is processed.
Note: please be careful to select the option to wait until after grades/graduation is posted if that’s what you want. We will send the transcripts as we receive the requests unless you tell us otherwise.
Q: What’s the fastest way to deliver a transcript? A: An eTranscript; we produce them once every day that the office is open and notify recipients immediately by email.
Q: What if I have a hold? A: Your request will not be processed until you’ve satisfied your obligation to Concordia.
Q: Can I get an unofficial transcript? A: Current (and fairly recent) students who have access to our portal connectcune.cune.edu have access to their academic records through our student portal. Those without portal access must order an official transcript.
