Q: Can I still order in person? A: Yes, but you must pay the fee in cash or check. We cannot accept credit cards in the office.

Q: Are there different kinds of transcripts? A: You have a choice of two types: Paper transcripts can be printed on security paper and delivered by mail. And certified PDF transcripts (eTranscripts) can be produced and delivered to the recipient electronically.

Q: Is my transfer credit on my transcript? A: Your Concordia transcript only summarizes transfer credit hours we accepted. For records of individual courses taken at other institutions, you will need to request official transcripts from those institutions.

Q: How do I request a transcript? A: You can order a transcript either online or in-person. The online process is described on these pages. In-person orders are accepted in the Registrar’s office, Janzow Campus Center 204 on the Concordia University Nebraska campus in Seward.
Both paper and eTranscripts can be ordered online. In-person orders can only be published on paper.

Q: How much does it cost? A: eTranscripts are $5 each ($10 each effective March 15, 2024); paper transcripts are $10 each.

Q: How do I pay? A: Online orders are paid by credit card. In-person orders must be paid by cash/check. We cannot accept credit cards in the office.

Q: Why do I need to provide consent? A: A federal law requires us to obtain your permission to release your personal information to a third party. We can document your consent by having your signature on a paper or by you verifying your identity through this system.

Q: How many can I order? A: As many as you would like.

Q: How soon will they get it? A: Both paper and eTranscripts orders are processed daily. Verification of requestor indentity and a check for financial holds occur prior to processing. Once that is completed and clear, eTranscripts are produced with notices delivered by email quickly after that.  Please allow up to 12 business days for delivery of a paper transcript after your order is processed.

Note: please be careful to select the option to wait until after grades/graduation is posted if that’s what you want. We will send the transcripts as we receive the requests unless you indicate otherwise.

Q: What’s the fastest way to deliver a transcript? A: An eTranscript, as it is sent to the recipient via email almost instantaneously, once information is verified.

Q: What if I have a hold? A: Your request will not be processed until you’ve satisfied your obligation to Concordia.

Q: Can I get an unofficial transcript? A: Concordia does not provide unofficial transcripts. Current (and fairly recent) students who have access to our portal connectcune.cune.edu have access to their academic records through our student portal. Those without portal access must order an official transcript.
